File a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request

Under the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act, the public is allowed to inspect and obtain information and records generated, developed or held by the Air Quality Board.  You may refer to 52CSR1 Procedural Rules Governing Appeals Before The Air Quality Board​ Request For Information (FOIA) for additional information about this process.

If you would like to submit a request, it must be provided in writing.  Requests may be submitted by email, fax, or U.S. Mail.

Once you have filed a FOIA request, you will receive an initial response acknowledging that your request has been received.  A processing fee to cover expenses incurred may be charged.
